Job Details
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be working with customers to help identify, troubleshoot and deploy Kinetic software within large, complex enterprise IT environments. Leveraging your expertise of the Kinetic Platform and strong familiarity with IT operations and technologies like Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD frameworks you will be responsible for assisting customers with installations, upgrades and troubleshooting operational support issues.
Some of the things you’ll be doing include…
  • On-prem installs of the Kinetic Platform into customer provided linux servers and leveraging experience with Kubernetes, Networking, SAML, and various databases to facilitate a smooth onboarding process
  • Answering technical support questions about the architecture, infrastructure, and operations
  • Creating and improving support documentation
  • Assisting customers with Kinetic Platform upgrades
  • Helping customers configure the Kinetic Platform to work with their identity provider of choice

  • Ability to learn new software quickly, become a power user, and stay on top of emerging Kinetic Platform features and competitive technologies
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams to solve problems that enhance customer’s loyalty and engagement
Desired Skills
  • Working knowledge of SAML, OAuth, and other SSO
  • Proficiency with Bash and Ruby scripting
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and structured logging
  • Familiarity with Cassandra and PostgreSQL/MSSQL
  • Familiarity with AWS and AWS EKS
  • Basic Java Virtual Machine Tuning
  • A strong knowledge of Enterprise Software deployment and management
What you’ll need to apply
  • BA or BS degree in a technical discipline or 3+ years work experience
  • Basic experience with Kubernetes and Helm
  • Proficiency with Linux
  • Java Troubleshooting
  • Network Troubleshooting
  • SSL and Certificate Management/Troubleshooting
  • Awesome Googling skills :)
